Our Services

Terms & Definitions

Landscaping for residential or business is the backbone of Forest Tree & Landscape Service.  We are a highly qualified tree service that offers a wide range of yard project services.  But, if you have a tree problem let's take care of that first.

Tree Work Terms & Definitions

Tree Trimming

Overhanging branches up to 2' diameter are considered tree trimming.  Charges are per branch cut with/without roping.

If there is substantial chance for asphalt cracking or ground impact a technique of tethering branches to the ground will be used.

Trunk Blocking

Trunk blocking  prices are per tree trunk.  This term is used for large trees about 1' to 4' diameter regardless of the length of the tree to the crown or branches.

This work is performed once the tree is horizontal to the ground.  If large machinery is used your price for cuts is less.  Blocks are slices of the tree trunk in 18' to 36" sections.

Tree Removal

Cutting down a live tree is performed by an arborist.  If your tree is dangerous you should expect to pay a similar price from every competitor.

Debris Removal

Debris can be vegetative from trees and landscaping or consist of other materials.  This is also called hauling off and it comprises about 40% of your total price.
